Leube Skulpturenweg | tree spiral

year: 2008 | typologie: art | status: complete

The “Tree Spiral” on the Leube Sculpture Trail is a work of art based on an idea by the Salzburg architects Lechner & Lechner. It frames the monument to Gustav Ernst Leube, the founder of the Leube company, and fits harmoniously into the surrounding nature. The spiral consists of trees arranged around

an oval pond, in the middle of which stands a narrow column with a bust of Leube. Each tree in the spiral symbolizes one of the people involved in the Leube work, who gather around the founder so that they gradually form a common roof - a symbol of the cohesion of the corporate.

The Leube Sculpture Trail was created in 2008 and follows the staircase path along the Königsseeache. The trail allows visitors to experience contemporary art in connection with

nature. Although concrete plays a role, it is not necessarily the material of choice. Every year, the path is supplemented with another walk-in work of art, which shows the diversity of artistic expression.
